The European digital signage rollout has successfully unified the brand

We worked with leading European sports store Hervis Sports to deliver a refreshed digital signage solution across over 200 stores. The brand was experiencing a huge expansion and growth with new stores opening at a rate of 10 per year, so Hervis needed to act quickly to get a consistent customer experience in place across its European branch network.

Challenges

With time of the essence, we needed to act quickly to design and deliver the turnkey solution for all stores, including hardware and software specification and installation. This needed to consider the different store sizes and layouts to create a unified customer journey tailored for each individual environment.

We had just two months to deliver the final solution across 200 stores! This included originating new store designs, including eight in Germany, and replacing dated infrastructure and systems in existing stores.

Solution

All content for all digital signage elements is managed centrally via a dedicated digital signage CMS. This simplifies, streamlines and centralizes the planning and distribution of content and reduces the reliance on manual operation with a timed distribution function to reliably publish videos, purchase incentives, and offers.
