No internet – Black Screen / White Screen

The instructions are divided in “Basic” & “Advanced” difficulty. If you don’t feel up for the advanced troubleshooting, you can always create a ticket to ZetaDisplay support explaining the situation.

ZetaDisplay support must have the following information: https://zetadisplay.com/help-request-form/

1. A detailed description of the issue
2. Store name & location

3. SM-ID (Exempel: M-1000XXXXX)
4. Serial number of the screen (If you are unsure of how to locate the Serial Number please follow the guide titled ”How to locate Serial Number”
5. Type of fridge (Normal or ZYN)

6. The screens placement Example: On top of fridge, on door etc.

7. Screen size (13”, 22”, 32”, 37” (Stretch), 43”, 55”.

8. ID/Label on the Teltonika router/USB stick.

Basic

  • Restart the display and check that it has power.

Advanced

If the Basic guide did not work, please try the following:

  1. If there is a timer, disconnect it (Only on very old setups)

Check that the screens have access to the internet:

Teltonika TRB140: 1-5 led must light up for reception. Important that the LAN cable between the screen and the Teltonika router is connected to the LAN port.

Teltonika RUT240: 1-5 led must light up for reception. Important that the LAN cable between the screen and the Teltonika router is connected to the LAN port & the two antennas must be connected to the Mobile “ports”. (This is not shown in the image to the right)

Check that you are connected to the internet:

Samsung: menu > network > check network status

LG: gear > General > network

Check that the date and time are set correctly

Samsung: menu > system > time and date > Clockset (Type in the actual time & date)

LG: gear > General > Time & Date > Set automatically (ON) > Time Zone > Europe, Sweden & Stockholm.

If the screen still cannot connect to the internet

Connect the USB stick / Teltonika router to a computer and verify that you can surf to: https://secure.zetadisplay.com

If it still fails to connect to the internet
