Unique Digital Signage Solutions for Every Branch
With its local Raiffeisen banks, the Raiffeisen Banking Group is Austria’s largest banking group. The Raiffeisen banks in the region of Tyrol rely on innovative digital signage solutions from ZetaDisplay Austria in over 110 branches to make their branches more modern, customer-friendly and efficient. Whether in small communities or in the head offices, the digital displays and customised concepts create new experiences for customers and employees. The aim is to make communication dynamic and visually strengthen the bank’s presence.

Challenges
The Raiffeisen banks were faced with the task of modernising their branches and at the same time responding to the different needs of the more than 110 locations. In the smaller communities, a highlight was needed for customer reception, while in the cities, a shop window magnet was required to generate more attention. At the head office, future-orientated solutions were to be implemented to make a visit to the bank more modern and informative.
The aim was to optimally combine functionality, design and individuality.

Solution
The ZetaDisplay Austria team developed a customised concept for each branch in order to optimally fulfil the requirements. Displays were installed in prominent positions in the rural communities to welcome customers with relevant information and appealing visual content as soon as they enter the bank. These digital eye-catchers are not only visually appealing, but also offer the flexibility to customise content quickly and easily. This allows the bank to inform customers about current offers, financial topics and local events. In smaller bank branches, Raiffeisenbank also relies on the integration of touchscreens, which enable customers to independently call up information on products or services. This not only reduces waiting times, but also improves the interaction between bank and customer. A total of 88 new indoor displays were installed and a further 40 existing displays were equipped with new players.
A modern shop window magnet was developed at prominent locations with the aim of attracting the attention of pedestrians. A total of 32 bright screens were positioned so that they are visible from a long distance. The content includes not only traditional advertising for banking services, but also emotional imagery and local community themes that emphasise the connection to the region. Digital signage enables individualised content for the individual bank branches.
Large-format presentation areas were created for Raiffeisen Landesbank Tirol, which are used for both internal and external communication. The displays have a high resolution and an intuitive content management system that allows employees to manage content independently. From real-time stock market prices to personalised greetings for visitors – the solution offers a wide range of applications. For meeting rooms, Raiffeisenbank also received 5 meeting room displays.
Raiffeisen Landesbank Tirol’s latest project is the new Raiffeisen Quarter ‘RAIQA’ in the centre of the federal capital Innsbruck. On 23,000 square metres, various digital signage solutions such as totems, video walls, LED walls and meeting room displays are used in the multifunctional city quarter for wayfinding, customer and employee information and branding.

Online banking has meant that standard tasks at the counter have become less and less common in recent years. At the same time, the number of consultations has increased due to the more complex and extensive range of services and options.
