SCOTT Sports Unveils Immersive Munich Showroom Powered by Dynamic Digital Signage
SCOTT Sports SA has launched its new multipurpose showroom near Munich, designed to showcase the brand’s latest innovations and engage both retailers and customers. Featuring state-of-the-art digital signage, the space creates an immersive and dynamic environment that truly embodies SCOTT’s commitment to technology, design, and the adventurous spirit.
Challenges
SCOTT Sports wanted to create a showroom that was more than just a display space—it needed to be a dynamic environment that reflected the brand’s commitment to innovation, technology and design from the moment guests arrive.
Situated within a business park with approximately 7,000 people on campus, it was crucial that the showroom’s design attracted foot traffic and effectively communicated SCOTT’s brand aesthetics and values to become a frequently visited destination.
As competition in the sports retail market intensified, SCOTT Sports recognized the need to blur the lines between manufacturer and retailer. The showroom had to be an engaging space that showcased its entire product range to end customers and retailers alike, requiring a highly adaptable, modular and dynamic setup that could easily be tailored to different needs.
Solution
SCOTT Sports partnered with ZetaDisplay Austria to design, implement and install a comprehensive digital signage solution for the new showroom. The goal was to integrate digital technology in a way that enhanced the customer experience and reflected SCOTT’s cutting-edge brand ethos.
ZetaDisplay Austria conducted a thorough site survey to identify key points in the customer journey where digital signage would have the most impact.
The showroom design strikes the perfect balance between practical yet luxurious interiors, complemented by the integrated digital signage network. From the moment visitors enter the showroom, everything revolves around bikes, with strategically placed digital signage adding context. An 86” custom screen at the showroom entrance displays engaging content about SCOTT’s bike range and a 65” screen in the waiting area features curated sports videos, product showcases and brand sponsorship highlights.
To create a cohesive atmosphere, ZetaDisplay Austria introduced an instore radio system that plays tailored audio content and creates an enjoyable browsing atmosphere for customers. This can be adjusted for various showroom events, such as product launches, training sessions or film premieres.
Pedal Stroke Café 58: The showroom also features digital signage in the Pedal Stroke Café 58, seamlessly linking the showroom and café experiences. This integration ensures that SCOTT’s brand narrative continues across different zones of the showroom, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
