Bierol is all about the experience

The Tyrolean brewery Bierol stands for creative brewing and extraordinary taste experiences. To ensure that visitors can not only taste beer, but also experience its history and production process up close, an innovative digital solution was developed in collaboration with ZetaDisplay Austria that perfectly matches the brand: surprising, high-quality – and a little different than expected.Beurs van Berlage chooses Digital Signage that connects history and innovation

Challenge

At the heart of the project are two digital signage screens located directly above the production and brewery halls, which are used as part of a guided, interactive tour of the brewery.

One screen is equipped with four physical buttons that enable direct control of the content. A welcome message from the headbrewer, the introduction to the location, the brewery and filling process. The buttons are located on a console in the gallery above the brewery, exactly where guests see the production area.

A playful approach was chosen for the second screen: four 3D-printed figures of beer ingredieents can be moved around. Depending on the figure placed down on a dedicated area, the content displays the description video for the ingredient. This creates an intuitive, tactile experience for visitors.

The setup is completed by a customised audio system that provides acoustic support for the content and turns the digital tour into a multi-sensory experience.

The solution combines knowledge transfer with an experience factor – clear, entertaining and easy to understand. Thanks to intuitive control via buttons and figures, a visit to Bierol is not only informative, but also interactive. The combination of digital signage, haptic elements and an audio system creates a multi-sensory brand experience that leaves a lasting impression and perfectly showcases Bierol as an innovative brewery.
