Leading international turnkey digital signage solutions provider ZetaDisplay has been awarded a prestigious POPAI Award at the annual POPAI Awards dinner held in London.
The POPAI Award recognises ZetaDisplay’s innovative grocery retail digital signage solutions that challenged traditional digital signage practices and transformed the grocery retail brand Hemköp.
Hemköp approached ZetaDisplay with key business-led objectives for the refreshed digital signage solution. One key requirement was to be able to calculate the ROI of each individual display, justifying its placement and content performance, or removing it completely.
An initial pilot phase was set up across four control stores comparing two large stores and two neighbourhood stores with control stores that were equal in size, shopper demographics and geography to enable direct comparison, as well as the rest of the chain. Dedicated research and analytics was conducted during the initial pilot phase and after its success, further roll-outs were planned.
Through qualitative and quantitative research and dedicated analytical analysis, ZetaDisplay transformed the in-store experience with strategic digital signage placement and engaging content that enhances customer interaction, improves navigation and promotes special promotional offers in real time to drive real sales uplift.
By integrating dynamic displays and data-driven insights, ZetaDisplay jointly evolved how Hemköp, a leading Swedish retailer, can communicate with its shoppers, setting a new standard for grocery retail environments and raising the bar for innovative data-driven digital signage practices.
