Remote control doesn’t work.
If the remote does not work, you can try the following:
(Keep in mind that the remote control will automatically shut down after 30 minutes of no use, but the ON/OFF button will always stay active)
BASIC:
1. Make sure the batteries are not dead.
ADVANCED:
Samsung:
If the remote control does not work on the Samsung screen, key in MENU987MENU to activate it, alternatively restart the screen by pulling out the power cable.
LG:
If the remote control does not work on the LG screen, turn the screen OFF & ON again by pressing the ON/OFF button.
If the remote control does not work on the LG screen, turn the screen OFF & ON again by pressing the ON/OFF button. Other options:
A last option is to check if the IR cable is correctly installed on the screen (only for LG).
They should go in the input labelled “IR IN”.

(on some screen models it will have a square end & not a round one like shown in the image to the right.)
