To keep up with the todays and tomorrows demand of a flexible and future-proof media platform for Digital Signage, ZetaDisplay is continuously launching new functions and more comprehensive solutions. ZetaDisplay is now launching an application for SoC technology (System-on-Chip), which will reduce the general cost level of initial investment for Digital Signage execution.
The major professional display suppliers have been developing SoC solutions for some time and are now providing digital displays with significantly increased memory and processor capacity. The development and the performance are improving continuously. The need for an external PC or a media player is reduced, which means reduced requirements for resources and installation time. The total cost of ownership will also be reduced, which will according to our estimation, be a positive boost for the Digital Signage market in general.
To follow the development, ZetaDisplay has, together with the leading display brands in the world, developed an application, which support the SoC technology. Our app will provide the same functionality on a SoC as the traditional systems do trough an external media player or a PC.
Our SoC application is fully compatible with our traditional Digital Signage solution and can be combined with current system for an optimal execution that will follows the requirements and needs of our clients.
A number of pilot-customers have tested our app with good results and we will further develop the app for a broad variety of customers such retail and restaurants.
